Wedding photography is a very specific specialty within the field of photography. After more than two decades as a wedding photographer, I can wholeheartedly say that being successful in this industry runs deeper than having top of the line equipment, and strong business skills. As a client, you are paying for so much more. We have to walk into a room… most of the time not knowing a single person…feel the vibe and match the energy in that room and make new best friends instantly. We often need to diffuse emotional situations, and give the bride or groom some calming words to help them through their wedding day jitters. Not to mention fixing hair and makeup mishaps when they occur. All of that while making the best lighting decisions, and making quick adjustments each moment as the day unfolds. It is our job to help each client build an optimal timeline, based around the most ideal lighting scenario… and also offer an alternative backup plan when the timeline gets off track…which happens a good majority of the time. On top of all of that our job to make magic… And produce the most beautiful photos of your life while working under the pressure I just described, without missing a moment. It takes a special skill set to do all of this while also making you feel comfortable enough to be in the moment and enjoy your day.

Family, Maternity...and Beyond!
Traditionally there was the hassle of taking the family down to a photography studio, waiting patiently as the backdrops and lighting were adjusted, and hoping for a decent result. Well times have changed, and I am proud to have changed with them. I believe that there is nothing more important in life than love, and capturing the love between people is what I do. Family sessions are focused on choosing a Sedona area location, and spending our time capturing your family and the unique love that you share. Not only will I photograph your family as a whole, but I take time to capture the special bond that each member shares with the other, and the end result is a complete story of YOUR family in this moment. Newborn photography sessions are among the most intimate of all. As a Mom, I truly understand the delicate nature of having a newborn baby. It is for that reason, I will personally come to your home if you are more comfortable being in your own environment with baby. During the session the focus is not only on baby alone, but equally on the family as a whole. Your newborn is only tiny briefly and these sessions are designed to encapsulate the happiness and love that a baby brings to a family.
